President Trump has called former vice president and Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden “a reclamation project,” adding that “some things are just not salvageable.”
Trump made the remarks on Twitter Saturday, and he went on to say: “China and other countries that ripped us off for years are begging for him. He deserted our military, our law enforcement and our healthcare. Added more debt than all other Presidents combined. Won’t win!”
The president’s criticism comes in the wake of Biden’s comments about him on CNN.
“He’s the bully that I knew my whole life,” Biden said. “He’s the bully that I’ve always stood up to. He’s the bully that used to make fun when I was a kid that I stutter, and I’d smack him in the mouth.”
During an exchange with reporters on Friday, Trump reacted to Biden calling him a “bully.”
“I don’t think I’m a bully at all,” Trump said. “I just don’t like being taken advantage of by other countries, by pharmaceutical companies, by all of the people that have taken advantage of this country. You look at what Joe Biden has done with China. We’ve lost our shirts with China.”
