The phone call Trump referenced was the subject of the whistleblower complaint that was the catalyst for House Democrats launching an official impeachment inquiry two weeks ago. 

On Friday, the House Oversight and Reform Committee subpoenaed the White House for documents concerning Trump’s July 25 phone call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

House panels also asked Vice President Pence to turn over all documents he had concerning the phone call.

Saturday afternoon’s tweet continued Trump’s busy day on Twitter.
