CHICAGO — WGN Morning News sports anchor Pat Tomasulo tells us how he REALLY feels about Kobe Bryant’s retirement in a video that has since gone viral on Facebook.
“I’m sorry, but sometimes this job makes me snap,” Tomasulo wrote with his post on his Facebook page. In less than 24 hours, Tomasulo’s epic video rant was viewed over 100,000 times and shared nearly 1,000 times.
“What a crazy night it hot sports takes,” Tomasulo begins. “People debating about Adam Laroche going undercover in southeast Asia. ‘Oh this guy again? What exactly was he doing?’ Granted, I got a lot of questions, too, but no arguing it was a noble effort. Meanwhile, this guy, a documented jackass for 19 of his 20 NBA seasons, takes 50 shots and gets the kind of twitter adulation reserved for a war hero. He took 50 shots, at times against Magic Johnson ’92 all-star game-level defense. The point guard from lane tech could chuck up 50 shots and score 60!”
