‘You must have a Democrat mayor’: Trump criticizes the length of time it takes to throw out rally protesters – Washington Examiner

President Trump slammed the mayor of Cincinnati for how long it took law enforcement to remove protesters at his rally.

“Democrat mayor, you must have a Democrat mayor,” Trump said Thursday at the Cincinnati rally, after it took several minutes to remove a couple protesters. “You have a Democrat mayor? Come on, law enforcement!”

Mayor John Cranley has been the mayor of the city since 2013 and is, as Trump surmised, a member of the Democratic Party.

In 2017, Cranley held a press conference with hundreds of other mayors to criticize the president for withdrawing from the Paris climate agreement.
