The T-Race also includes an ergonomic bellow, which supports a more natural flex during the knee-bending phase. This advanced feature projects the skier's center of gravity toward the inside of the turn, translating into greater precision while you change edges and reducing the risk of ski crossover. Other features include a lateral cant adjustment that helps you control edges even better; an instep buckle that provides superior heel lock for better uphill and downhill performance; a dual-density torsion frame for maximum lateral stability; and a zero-rocker sole profile that provides immediate edge initiation. Made of 100-percent Pebax--the key to combining light weight with maximum power--the T-Race telemarking boots carry a one-year warranty.

About Scarpa
Founded in the Montebelluna region of northern Italy--an area long known for its quality handcrafted footwear--Scarpa's original mission was to bring together all the best shoemakers in the Asolo area and produce the best footwear anywhere. The family-owned enterprise evolved through the years from a traditional footwear manufacturer to one that focused on the needs of northern Italy's rapidly developing mountaineering and climbing culture. Among Scarpa's most innovative products was the popular Rally boot for alpine skiing, along with an early high-altitude plastic boot for mountaineering (known initially as the Grinta, and later the Inverno). The company was also the first to build a Gore-Tex boot and the first to develop a telemark skiing boot. In 2007, Scarpa introduced the first telemark and alpine touring-compatible boot. Still based in Italy, Scarpa maintains its American headquarters in Boulder, Colorado.
