Israeli (Idf) Khaki Canvas Harness Webbing Set for SMG

This listing is for an original Israeli Defense Force (IDF) webbing/ harness set. This set is configured much like those used in the 1967 Six Day War and the Yom Kippur War of 1973. It is comprised of the following items: * Field Belt * Harness/ Yoke * Small Pack * (2) Five-Cell Magazine Pouches - Holds 5 x 25 or 32rd SMG Magazines. * (1) Two-Cell Grenade Pouch - Holds 2 Grenades of Various Size or Other Kit. * Canteen w/ Cover The early days of the IDF saw the use of a mix of field gear items from other countries. In the late 1960's, Israel began designing their own original field gear and kit patterned after both US and British webbing designs. This early pattern was made of khaki cotton canvas and was used through the 1980s. This set is well made and a unique piece of IDF kit with years a useful service with modern applications.
